An agreement between the student and AFPT International

Last revised: 06. Nov 2018.

1. Parties

This agreement is between the student, meaning the person who in writing registers with the course administrator and AFPT International, the provider, hereafter called "AFPT".

The time of registration is defined as, "the time when the student registers his/her personal details with the course administrator or AFPT".

It is strongly recommended that the student thoroughly study the underlying course requirements and conditions for attendance and certification.

2. Study fee

The study fee, including all elements, is specified on the website.

By accepting this agreement the student certifies that the billing will be done in accordance with the information specified on the website, unless other agreements are made. Non-completion of the required payments will result in the student being denied access to the course. No refunds will be made if the student does not fullfill the specified payment requirements.

3. Payment

Full payment is to be made no later than one week prior to the time of the theoretical exam. If payment is not completed the student will not be allowed to participate in the exams, whether theoretical or practical.

The billing is to be done in two instalments, one prior to the start of the course (the registration fee) and one (the course fee), no later than one week prior to the theoretical exam.

Following commencement of the course, no cancellation or refund of the registration fee will be permitted and payment of the course fee in full will be required.

In the event of certified medical illness during the period between course registration and course completion, the student will be offered a place on the next scheduled course at no additional cost.

4. Liability

The student guarantees and confirms that his/her health is appropriate for attending the course. It is the student´s own responsibility to ensure that the necessary level of physical and mental conditions are met when attending the course.

If at any time during theoretical or practical classes or exams, a student's behaviour is deemed to be disruptive, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the instructor will require immediate removal from the course.

During the theoretical exam, use of external resources (e.g. books, smart phones, calculators, etc) will result in immediate disqualification and removal from the course.
